Summary
The Ministry of Education and Youth Affairs was established in 1988, as a result of the renaming of the Ministry of Education (1984-1988). The Ministry was responsible for carrying out the following functions: education and training; social and community services. The Ministry was renamed in 1990 and became known as the Ministry of School Education and Youth Affairs.
