Summary

The Ministry of Education and Youth Affairs [II] (New South Wales) was established in 1992, with the renaming of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Women's Affairs (1990-1991). The Ministry was responsible for carrying out the following functions: education and training; social and community services. The Ministry was abolished on 5 April 1995 and its functions were distributed between the following agencies: Office of the Board of Studies, Board of Vocational Education and Training and the Department of School Education.
